Sunday School Ministry : March - May 2021

Theme:
Prophets Faithful to God's COVENANT

Memory Verse:
Deuteronomy 18:15; Nehemiah 2:17; Lamentations 5:21; Jonah 3:10 (NIV)

The Lord your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among you, from your fellow Israelites. You must listen to him. Then I [Nehemiah] said to them, "You see the trouble we are in: Jerusalem lies in ruins, and its gates have been burned with fire. Come, let us rebuild the wall of Jerusalem, and we will no longer be in disgrace." Restore us to yourself, Lord that we may return; renew our days as of old. When God saw what they did and how they turned from their evil ways, he relented and did not bring on them the destruction he had threatened.

Min. Portia Sayles Adult Class #5, will be studying the book of Daniel

Holy Week

We will not share palms, gather for Sunrise Service, nor have the traditional breakfast and fellowship this year. But we clearly have a reason to celebrate our Savior.  We will do that through a Maundy Thursday service on Thursday, April 1st at 7:00PM.  On Sunday, April 4th, we will observe Sunrise Service at 6:00AM with a message from Elder Eddie Sampson, pastor of New Union Baptist Church, of Vienna, VA, followed by our regular 9:00AM Sunday School and 10:00AM worship.
Finally, we recognize the past year has required us to worship remotely. While we worship from different locations, we invite us all to be in worship at the same time, 9:00AM Sunday School and 10:00AM worship so we can have a sense of unity, and even have a time of fellowship afterwards.  Please join us at those times at the usual link for worship: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/86511085999?pwd=aXN3bmNibTczOUhIaFBwNmJUQ296dz09, Passcode: 22401, or

We look forward to seeing you on Sundays and the times noted above for Holy Week.
